The Shackle Tackled & Fish Trolled
Ralf did a fantastic job in arranging and executing the fishing competition – thank you Ralf! Results are on the Website for 30th June International Trolling Competition.
Thibaut, with invaluable help from Gail & Mini did a great job in arranging superb food and entertainment for the weekend. On behalf of all those that were there – thank you! It would have been nice to see a lot more members there.
The Shackle races: Optimists sailed two races on Saturday with a strong shower to spice up the second race. Sunday they sailed another race. 7 Optimists on the water. The winner was Amila Sampath and Tarik Conrad was runner up.
GP14 Shackle races: Capt Per gave us a nice “Z” course for the four races on Saturday. There were 8 boats on the water in the light winds. Sunday Per changed the course to trapezoid for the last two races. 9 boats sailed. The winner was Devin/Soyza. With Jeremy/Martin second and Thomas/Jeremy third.
